Jeep Key Fob Won Lock Doors

If you close and open your car door with the smart fob this key is likely to be hidden inside the fob.

I never lock my doors with the key fob but always lock it with the door button. The 2016 jeep cherokee has 2 problems reported for power door lock not working. Wrangler a little over a year ago and my rear gate isn t locking unlocking with my remote key. Replaced the door.

The only other thing is it usually says that the key is in ignition even when its been removed. Get in your car and lock the door manually. Drivers side door will not unlock with key fob. Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the accessory position.

In my case i would probably never know there was an issue.
