Check your trans mounts excessive movement can cause problems with that connector it is located on the driver s side of the trans.
An independent jaguar specialist here in the nw is stumped by whats gone wrong.

Hey guys i am having a problem with my 2007 xj8l when the locks are engaged from the central lock button the front passenger door does not unlock unless the same button is pressed or driver door latch is opened.
The door locks do not lock when moving gearshift out of park and all locks do not lock when turning the key in the driver s door.
